Installing the Drip Tray
NOTE This section is provided as a reference when performing
service procedures that require removing and
reinstalling the drip tray.
1. Hook the leak sensor on the tray as shown in
; make sure the
sensor is pushed all the way down onto the tray edge.
NOTE Make sure the bottom wire on the leak sensor is not
touching the tray. There should be at least a paper-width
gap between it and the tray.
2. Tilt the top of the tray in and the bottom out, and partially slide the tray back
into the autosampler. Make sure the leak sensor clears the front overhang on
the autosampler.
3. Make sure the needle seal line is in the front of the tray (see
4. Straighten the tray and push it back into the autosampler until it is flush with
the front. Replace the screw.
NOTE After installing the drip tray, make sure the tray is not
tilted to the left; if it is, liquid will not drain properly
during operation.
