Examine the tires:

Look for cuts and wear.

Check slip marks.

Ensure correct inflation pressure in the nose
wheel:

6 bar / 87 PSI.

6.1 bar / 88 PSI, if MÄM 42-659 is carried out.

Ensure correct inflation pressure in the main
wheels:
S
4.7 bar / 68 PSI.

Examine the main wheel brakes:
S
Check brake linings for excessive wear.
S
Check brake disks for distortion and excessive
wear.
S
Check brake cylinders for leaks.

3.
Remove all 3 wheels.

4.
Examine the wheel axles. Look specially for cracks
and corrosion.

5.
Examine the wheel bearings. Look specially for play,
corrosion and irregular running.

Clean and lubricate all bearings at the wheels. (Refer
to Section 12-20).

7.
Examine the rims of all 3 wheels. Look specially for
cracks.

8.
Install all 3 wheels.

Do a test for wheel track and camber. (Refer to Section
32-10).
