circuit). Water temp > 90°C.
Unit will stop operating.
Power reset + reset via user int
pressing the button on the Q1L (if
activated).

Check
Corrective action
Air in water circuit / backup heater.
Check if all air purge valves are open.
Check if air purge valves are installed on
all highest points of the field installed
water circuit.
Purge the unit and field supplied water
system and backup heater. Refer to the
Installer Reference Guide.
Increased water temperature by external
heat source.
Check if another heat source is installed
on the same water circuit.
Correct hydraulic field circuit. Refer to the
Installer Reference Guide.
Faulty thermal protector Q1L.
Check thermal protector backup heater
Q1L (see page 79).
Replace thermal protector backup heater
Q1L when required.
Faulty outlet backup heater thermistor.
Check outlet backup heater thermistor
(see page 70).
Replace outlet backup heater thermistor
when required.
Faulty outlet water heat exchanger ther-
mistor.
Check outlet water heat exchanger ther-
mistor (see page 70).
Replace outlet water heat exchanger ther-
mistor when required.
Faulty backup heater assy.
Check backup heater kit (see page 65).
Replace the backup heater assy when
required.
