Overview of parts replacement procedures:

2.1.1. Removing the hydrobox top plate assembly

Switch off the Daikin Altherma Monobloc CA via the user interface.

Switch off the Daikin Altherma Monobloc CA with the field supplied circuit breaker.

Loosen and remove the 3 screws (1) that fixe the hydrobox top plate (2) to the hydrobox.

Lift the hydrobox top plate assembly (2) and remove it from the hydrobox.

If the platework of the

Daikin Altherma Monobloc CA is bent (e.g. when replacing a thermistor), chances are the

platework no longer aligns correctly with the hea

t exchanger. This will increase the risk of ice build-up.
