2.2.2. Replacing the DC fan motor assembly

2.2.2.1 Preliminary actions

Switch off the Daikin Altherma Monobloc CA via the user interface.

Switch off the Daikin Altherma Monobloc CA with the field supplied circuit breaker.

Remove the propeller fan blade assembly, refer to

"Replacing the propeller fan blade assembly" on page 115

2.2.2.2 Procedure

Removal

Unplug S70 (1) from PCB2 (2).

Unlock the ferrite bead (3).

Release the fan motor assembly harness (4) from the electrical component box (5).

Slightly bend the harness retainers (6) to release the fan motor assembly harness (4).

Loosen and remove the 4 screws (7) that fix the DC fan motor assembly (8).

Remove the DC fan motor assembly (8).

Installation

Proceed in reverse order.
