Backup heater outlet thermistor R2T
detects temperature above 65°C (SPH) or
75°C (DHW).
Unit will stop operating.
Manual reset via user interface.
Possible cause
Check
Corrective action
Increased water temp by external heat
source.
Check if another heat source is installed
on the same water circuit.
Correct hydraulic field circuit. Refer to the
Installer Reference Guide.
Faulty backup heater outlet thermistor
R2T.
Check backup heater outlet thermistor
R2T (see page 70).
Replace backup heater outlet thermistor
R2T when required.
Faulty backup heater contactors (sticking)
K1M, K2M.
Check backup heater control contactors
K1M, K2M (see page 66).
Replace the contactor(s) when required.
Faulty hydro PCB A1P.
Check if the alive led is blinking in regular
intervals.
Check if the correct spare part is installed.
Check if hydro PCB A1P receives power.
Adjust the power to the PCB.
Replace hydro PCB A1P when alive led is
not blinking in regular intervals.
Adjust software of hydro PCB A1P or
install correct spare part when required.

Entering water thermistor R4T detects an
abnormal value (open or short circuit).
Unit will stop operating.
Auto-reset.

Faulty hydro PCB A1P.
Check if the alive led is blinking in regular
intervals.
Check if the correct spare part is installed.
Check if hydro PCB A1P receives power.
Adjust the power to the PCB.
Replace hydro PCB A1P when alive led is
not blinking in regular intervals.
Adjust software of hydro PCB A1P or
install correct spare part when required.
