A fuse may be malfunctioning. Replace the fuse.
•
If operating on battery power, the battery may be missing or dis-
charged. If the battery is discharged, charge the battery.
•
If the battery does not charge, replace the battery.
The monitoring system is not
charging the battery even when
connected to an AC power
source.
•
IF the battery is completely depleted and the unit shuts down, it may
not charge after connection to AC and the battery charge indicator
will not light. Power cycle once and retry charging the battery while
connected to AC.
•
Replace the battery.
The monitoring system is oper-
ating on battery power, even
though it is connected to an AC
power source.
•
Ensure the power cord is properly connected to the monitoring
system.
•
Check to see if power is available to other equipment on the same AC
circuit.
Even though it is connected to
an AC power source, the moni-
toring system displays the fol-
lowing System Error when
powered on: “Battery missing
or damaged. Contact a quali-
fied service technician.”
The battery may not be installed. The battery must be installed prior to use.
The monitoring system is not
