Ensure the SatSeconds alarm threshold is set to a value of 10 under the icon
on the main monitoring screen.

Test the OxiMax™ SPD Alert (SPD) sensitivity setting.
a.
Press MENU.
b.
Press ALARM LIMITS.
c.
Select SPD.
d.
Ensure the sensitivity is set to a value of 1.
e.
Select OFF.
f.
Press SAVE CHANGES.
g.
Ensure the SPD sensitivity is set to “OFF” under the icon on the main monitor-
ing screen.
4.
Test the Pulse Rate Delay setting.
a.
Press MENU.
b.
Press ALARM LIMITS.
c.
Select PULSE RATE DELAY.
d.
Ensure the delay is set to OFF.
e.
Select a delay of 10 seconds.
f.
Press SAVE CHANGES.
g.
Press MENU.
h.
Press ALARM LIMITS.
i.
Select PULSE RATE DELAY.
j.
Ensure the delay is set to 10.
5.
Turn off the monitoring system by pressing the POWER ON key, clearing all changes.
6.
Turn on the monitoring system by pressing the POWER ON key.
7.
Verify return to factory default limits on the main monitoring screen.
a.
Ensure the value under the circle icon is 100.
b.
Ensure the value under the triangle icon is 1.
c.
Press MENU.
d.
Press ALARM LIMITS.
