A transfer memory exists
on the drum.
Traces of contact with the
developing cylinder exist
on the drum.
The trailing edge of
curled paper touched the
separation charging
assembly.
The output of the devel-
oping bias is faulty.
Dirt exists on the de-
curling roller (upper).
Action
Generate 20 test prints
(PG=05, halftone) continu-
ously. (Try five times or so
while checking the images.)
If the problem is not cor-
rected, replace the drum.
Remove the curling from
the paper.
Check the wiring; if normal,
replace the developing bias
unit (HVT3-A/B).
Clean the roller.
