4) Remove the two mounting screws [4], and
remove the shutter cover [3].
Clean the shutter cover with lint-free paper.

5) Remove the spring [5], and remove the shutter
[6].
Clean the shutter with lint-free paper.

6) Clean the SALT sensor inside plastic sheet
[7], shutter contact member [8] with lint-free
paper moistened with alcohol.
Use dry lint-free paper for the SALT sensor
face [9].

7) Install all parts by reversing the steps used to
remove them.
8) Check to make sure that the shutter moves
smoothly.

1) Remove the SALT sensor unit.
2) Remove the two screws [1], and remove the
No. 2 scoop-up sheet [2].
