a. When installing the pick-up roller
[1] to the pick-up assembly,
make sure that the round mark
ing [2] on the rubber portion is
toward the front of the machine.

The pick-up roller is identified by the
color of its collar as follows:
front: gold
rear: silver
b. Do not remove the rubber por
tion of the pick-up roller from the
collar.
3. Removing the Feeding Roller
1) Remove the pick-up assembly.
2) Remove the screw [1], and remove the upper
guide [2].

3) Remove the screw [3], and remove the pick-
up roller arm bushing [4].
