21.0 Network Interface Module (DX4020)
Firmware revision 2.10 or greater is required
for network communication.
21.1 DX4020
Overview
The DX4020 Network Interface Module (NIM)
provides bi-directional communication over an
Ethernet network. It can also be used for remote
programming sessions with RPS (Remote
Programming Software).
21.2 DX4020
Addressing
Set the DIP Switch address to 134 when using the
DX4020 for network communication.

Installation
Failure to follow the mounting instructions in
this document can result in damage to the
module.
The DX4020 contains static-sensitive
components and must be handled with care.
Follow anti-static procedures when handling
this module.
Mount the DX4020 to the back wall of the control
panel’s enclosure. See Figure 46.
