You can use either one of the Aux Power (-) terminals
and either one of the 12 VDC (+) terminals when
connecting devices to the control panel.

You can use either one of the Aux Power (-) terminals
when connecting devices to the control panel.
Do not tie the black (-) output to earth ground
when using any external power supply. A
ground fault condition is reported if black (-)
is grounded.

22.3 DACM
Supervision
The control panel supervises communication to the
DACM. If the control panel fails to communicate with
the DACM, it sends a “Dbus Missing” {125} report.
23.0 System Power Up
The system shows a trouble upon any power-up
because the date and time settings are missing. This
trouble remains until these settings are made.
To reduce the occurrence of false alarms
upon control panel power-up (or restoration
of power after a complete loss of primary and
secondary power), the control panel ignores
all zone faults for approximately 60 seconds
while the devices stabilize.

The System Status LED shows system status,
including power supply status as described below.

shows the location of the control panel’s
LED.
