TROUBLESHOOTING
66
No.
Symptom
Possible cause
Measure
11
FAN ERROR
Failure of the cooling FAN
Replace the power supply.
12
INVERTER ERROR
Damages on main inverter
Replace the power supply.
13
CPU ERROR
Control circuit board error
Replace the power supply.
14
EMERGENCY STOP
Implementation of emergency stop
operation
If it occurs other than during the emergency
stop operation, replace the power supply.
15
POWER DEPRESSION
ERROR
Inverter error
Detection circuit board error
Check whether the electric current limit is not
lowered too much.
If it repeats again after reviewing the setup
content, exchange the power supply unit.
16
PULS OVER CURRENT
ERROR
Pulse section overcurrent
Check the impedance of the load.
If the impedance is normal but the symptom is
not improved, exchange the power supply unit.
17
PULS CIRCUIT ERROR
Generates when the pulse section is
abnormal
Check whether the unit is recovered by the
RESET signal.
If the symptom repeats after the re-output,
exchange the power supply unit.
18
SYNC SETTING
ERROR
Pulse synchronization setup error
Check the synchronization setup of the power
supply unit.
If it cannot be improved, exchange the power
supply unit.
19
LEVEL OVER ERROR
Overvoltage of the command voltage
Check whether or not the command voltage is
within the specified value. If it exceeds the
specified value, change the command voltage
to within the specified value.
Check whether the unit is recovered by the
RESET signal.
If the command value electric voltage is within
the stipulated value, and if the symptom
repeats again, exchange the power supply unit.
20
PCB SETTING ERROR
Generates when DC-10-4P and other
models are mixed and used in M/S
connection.
DC-10-4P and other models cannot be used
together in M/S.
If the symptom generates even reviewing the
setup, exchange the power supply unit.
21
IN FREQ ERROR
It is generated when the external clock
signal is out of the working range.
Check that the optical link cable is correctly
connected.
Check that the optical link setting is correctly
configured.
22
DEAD SHORT WARNING (1) Short circuit of the load
(2) Internal element error
Check the load impedance.
If the impedance is normal but the symptom is
not improved, replace the power supply.
23
BUS OVER WARNING
Overvoltage of the AC input voltage
Check the AC input voltage at the time of
occurrence.
The operating range is 342 to 440VAC.
24
BUS UNDER WARNING
Decrease in AC input voltage
Check the AC input voltage at the time of
occurrence.
The operating range is 342 to 440VAC.
25
SELECT WARNING
Generates when the IREG/PREG are
both LOW.
Or, generates when 1 PLS/DCMD are
both LOW.
With reference to Table 4-6 and 14, check the
signals for 27, 28, 30 and 31 pins of the USER
IO PORT.
26
MS SETTING WARNING
This occurs if the set value of the
number of M/S power supply units
mismatches the number of connections.
Check the connections of the M/S cable
connected to the back of the power supply and
the settings on the monitor.
