8-4. Command between HOST and DC
To operate DC power supply from HOST, the control mode needs to be set to "HOST or HOST+
(RS-232C/RS-485)." To change the control mode, make a change by operating the front panel of DC power
supply or transmitting operation mode change command (0x13).
Write command
The commands below changes various parameters of DC or requests DC to executes specific operations.
For setting parameters etc, see the instruction manual for DC-10-4P.

This command is accepted only when HOST is selected for
the control.

Set the output command value.
The settable value depends on the current control mode.
For this reason, set the output mode by the setting command
(0x14) first and then set the LEVEL.
The settings for each mode are as follows. For the Power,
the value in which the value intended to set multiplied by 100
is transmitted, while, for the Current, the value in which the
value intended to set multiplied by 10 is transmitted.

The LOCAL operation is made on the front panel of the power
supply.
The control for HOST operation is carried out from RS232C
and RS485
The control for USER operation is carried out from USER
PORT.
In any operation mode, the changes can be made by HOST.
