4-2-3. Description of HOST function
The HOST setting enables direct control from the HOST computer via SERIAL communication.
For instructions about how to operate and set, see the operating instruction for serial communication
separately.
4-2-4. Description on HOST+ mode functions
In the HOST+ mode, the host computer can execute a direct control by SERIAL communication.
Only switching on or off the output is controlled from the IO port.
4-3. Selection of output control mode
The constant voltage, constant current, or constant power control modes can be selected.
The setting procedure is different for various control modes.
4-3-1. Setup in LOCAL
Select "PSET" at the upper left on the main screen to make a change.
For details, the corresponding point in the operating instruction.
PSET

the output is produced by the power control.

VSET

the output is produced by the voltage control.
ISET ： the output is produced by the current control.
*1 The output setting in power control can be set in the unit of 0.01 kW.
For M/S connection, the output setting can be done in the unit of 0.1 kW.
4-3-2. Setup in USER
The control mode can be selected from combinations of High and Low signals of 27-pin and 28-pin
ports of USER IO PORT.
