Removing the Ion Source Cartridge for Cleaning

Thermo Scientific

encounter resistance while removing the source. To release the source from the spring
contacts make small repeated rotations of the handle to the left and right quickly.

12. Once you reach the end of the track (when the back line at the end of the barrel is

uncovered by the black handle), twist the handle to the left to lock it into place.
