3.7.1 Setting the Parameters
The method of setting the parameters is explained. Refer to "Appendix 10 User Parameter List" for details of each
parameter setting range.
(Note 1) When a parameter is changed and [PR] displays at the top of the screen, reboot the machine to enable that
parameter change.
(Note 2) When the [INPUT] key is pressed without inputting a value, the parameter setting value is not changed, and
the cursor moves.
(Note 3) Parameters that can be set simultaneously must display within the currently displayed three columns.
(Note 4) If parameter values are simultaneously input in multiple columns, settings are made from the currently
displayed column on the left side, no matter which column the cursor is positioned.
3.7.2 Copying/Pasting Parameters
Parameters can be copied and pasted in a parameter with the same number for another axis or part system.
Operation method (Normal setting: Set "100" for X1 axis of "#8204 OT-" parameter)

Press the [Axis param] menu.
The axis parameter displays.

Use the [

| ] keys to move
the cursor to the setting position.
The cursor moves to the position where the data is to be set
(X1 axis).
(3)
Enter a value.
The set value displays and the cursor moves one position
downwards.

Operation method (Batch data setting: Set "200" for Y1 axis and "250" for Z1 axis of "#8204 OT-")

The axis parameter displays.

setting position.
The cursor moves to the position where the data is to be set.

Enter a value.
The set value displays and the cursor moves one position
downwards.

Operation method (Specifying and copying the parameter where the cursor is located)
(1)
Press the [Area copy] menu.
The menu is highlighted.
(2)
Move the cursor to the position of the parameter to
be copied and press the [INPUT] key.
The copy position displays in the selected area color.
The menu highlight returns to normal.
