5.8.1 Sampling Parameter
Parameter
Details
Setting range (unit)
Sampling cycle
Set the sampling cycle.
Cycle = 1.7ms * setting value
(Example)
When the setting value is 1: 1.7ms cycle
When the setting value is 2: 3.5ms cycle
1 to 255
Sampling channel
Set the number of sampling channel.
- The sampling buffer will be divided by the set number of channels. When
the number of sampling channels is increased, the number of data per
channel will decrease.
1 to 8
Upper limit
Set the capacity of the buffer to be used for sampling.
Buffer capacity = (setting value + 1) * 1024 items
(Example) When the setting value is 0: 1024 items
When the setting value is 1: 2048 items
0 to 1279
Start condition
Select the condition for starting sampling.
0:Manual start
Sampling starts when [Smp start] menu is pressed.
1:Variable No.
Sampling starts when the variable set in "Variable No." is 0 or a value other
than null. (Note 2) (Note 5)
2:PLC device
Sampling starts at the rising edge of the signal set in "PLC device". (Note3)
3:Address condition, true
Sampling starts when "Address", "Data" and "Data mask" conditions are
true. (Note1)
4:Address condition, false
Sampling starts when "Address", "Data" and "Data mask" conditions are
false. (Note1)
0 to 4
Output form
Select the data format when outputting the sampling data in text style.
0 : Outputs in decimal figure
1 : Outputs in hexadecimal figure with 8 digits
- When "Output form" is set to "1", and "#1004 ctlrunit" is "E (1nano)", the
data larger than 1m will not be output correctly. When the output data
exceeds 1m, the low-order 32bits of the sampling data will be output.
- Refer to the section "5.8.2 Outputting sampling data" for details on
sampling data output.
0, 1
Address1
:
Address8
Set the sampling address.
There are two ways: designating an already prepared data by its index No., and designating the
PLC device.
Refer to the section "5.8.1.1 Sampling Address" for details.
Adr1 output unit
:
Adr8 output unit
Set output unit for the sampling data of the each address.
0(blank):Outputs with #1004 ctrl_unit (Control unit).
B:Outputs in micrometre
C:Outputs in sub-micrometre
D:Outputs in 10 nanometre
E:Outputs in 1 nanometre
S:Outputs in conventional interchangeable pulse of the spindle
- S setting is enabled only for index No. method with spindle setting. The
output unit will be the same as C (sub-micrometre) setting for index No.
method with non-spindle setting (including NC axis setting).
