(b) Simple operation mode 1
If the parameter "#8957 T meas (L)-Simple mode" is set to "1", designate the offset No. to write the compensation
amount when pressing the [Offset write] menu.
(Example) Carrying out tool measurement for offset No.4, X axis and Z axis
(Note 1) Compensation amount is written in diameter value for diameter command, or in radius value for radius
command.
(Note 2) When offset write is executed for an axis that has not completed zero point return, the operation message
"TLM axis not returned to ref. position" will appear.
(Note 3) When the parameter "#1124 ofsfix" is "0", the cursor moves to the next offset No. However, when "#1124
ofsfix" is "1", the cursor does not move to the next offset No.
(Note 4) When the parameter "#11017 T-ofs set at run" is "1", the tool compensation amount data can be set even
during automatic operation or operation pause.
(Note 5) If the measurement result exceeds the setting range of the tool compensation amount, the operation message
"Setting error" will appear and the offset write cannot be executed.
(1)
Select the tool to be measured with a manual
numerical value command. (Refer to "3.10 Manual
Numerical Value Command" for details.)
The tool to be measured is selected.
(2)
Manually align the tool nose with the measurement
point.
(3)
Press the address key of the axis to measure (X
axis) or the [Measure X] menu.
Calculation result of X axis is displayed in "Measure value".
The [Measure X] menu is highlighted.
(4)
To measure another axis continuously, press the
address key of the axis to measure (Z axis) or the
[Measure Z] menu.
Calculation result of Z axis is displayed in "Measure value" by
maintaining the X axis "Measure value".
The [Measure Z] menu is highlighted.
(5)
Press the [Offset write] menu.
The operation message "Input offset No." displays.
(6)
Input an offset No.
