2.4 Program Edit

2.4.1 Edit/Search window
By turning ON/OFF the edit/search signal, the operation search is carried out starting from the block that has the cursor.
There are 2 ways to implement cursor position search: "INPUT search" and "Edit/Search signal search". When the status
is automatic operation, checking, or restart search, cursor position search cannot be operated. If parameter "#11039
Curs pos srch type" is set to "1", however, cursor position search can be operated even during single block stop. Refer to
"Operation method (search during single block stop)" for details.
By pressing [INPUT] key when it is in the normal status (not being in status such as editing or character searching, etc.),
operation search of the selected part system is carried out starting from the block that has the cursor.
It is valid if "1" is set to parameter "#11031 Cursor pos search".
(Note 1) When operating character string search, string replace, cursor on input unit, or editing it will not start cursor
position search by pressing [INPUT] key.
(Note 2) Operating search program will be the program that was searched when program edit window was open.
(Note 3) When MDI program is displayed, the block with the cursor will be set for MDI by pressing [INPUT] key.
(Note 4) If the [INPUT] key is pressed when data protect key 3 is valid, cursor position search will be executed without
displaying "data protect" message. "Search completed" message appears upon completion.
Operation method (INPUT Search)

Carry out the operation search to find the program to
carry out the cursor position search.
(2)
Press the [Edit].
The edit/search window is displayed.The program is displayed
starting from the block currently searched.(During automatic
operation or checking, the program is displayed from its top.)
(3)
Move the cursor to the block to carry out the cursor
position search.
(4)
Press [INPUT] key.
The operation search is carried out starting from the block that
has the cursor.
"Searching" is displayed in flickering during the search.
When the search is completed, "Search completed" is
displayed.
