SmartPAC 2 Fault Messages

Status Code #10

You may notice that when status code #10 appears, it will reference either "Motor off" or
"Energy saver shut down."  In both cases the motor has been turned off.  In the first case, you
physically turned it off, and in the second case, WPC automatically turned it off after a
certain period of time that you set in SmartPAC's Initialization mode to save energy.   See
Chapter 4 for more details ("Press Parameters").

The main motor on the press is not on.
Switch to the Inch mode to access the
Adjust menu.

F10 ENERGY SAVER SHUT DOWN

The main motor was shut down to save
energy.  Switch to Inch mode to access
the Adjust menu.

F10 PRESS MOTOR IS OFF

Interrupted Stroke

An interrupted stroke occurs when the press has been emergency-stopped before the
completion of the stroke by either the operator or a safety device.  When an interrupted
stroke occurs, a stop command is immediately issued to the press, and “Interrupted Stroke”
flashes in the status box at the top of the SmartPAC 2 screen.
