1.2.4.1 Safety About Laser Light

Laser light can be harmful to the human body. The machine's laser system is completely blocked by means
of a protective housing and external covers, and its light will not escape outside the machine as long as it
is used for its intended purposes.
1.2.4.2 CDRH Regulations

The Center for Devices and Radiological Health of the US Food and Drug Administration put into effect
regulations to govern laser products on August 2, 1976. These regulations apply to laser products manu-
factured on and after August 1, 1976, and all laser products must be certified under the regulations for sale
within the United Sates.
The following shows the label used to certify compliance with the CDRH regulations, and laser products
intended for sale in the US are required to bear this label.
