8.11.18 Feeding Roller
8.11.18.1 Removing the Feeding Roller

1) Remove the pickup assembly from the main
body.
2) Remove the screw [2], and detach the feeding
roller cover [1].
3) Remove the stop ring [3] form the front of the
fixing roller.
4) Remove the stop ring [4] and the pickup roller
[5] at the font; then, detach the feeding roller
[7] together with the timing belt [6].

When mounting the feeding roller assembly to
the deck/cassette pickup assembly, be sure that
the belt pulley [2] is to the front of the machine.
When mounting the feeding roller [3] to the feed-
ing roller shaft [4], be sure that the round marking
[5] is toward the front of the machine.

1) Remove the deck right/cassette pickup
assembly.
2) Remove the E-ring [1] and the bearing [2] from
the front, and remove the grip ring [3], clutch
[4], and bearing [5] from the rear.

3) Remove the E-ring [1] of the front and the rear
of the roller shaft, and move the bearings [2]
toward the inside; then, detach the guide plate
[3].

4) Remove the E-ring [1], and remove the bearing
[2] to detach the vertical path roller [3].
