The factory default settings are as follows.
• Autocut: From computer
• Ink drying period (page) : No
• Ink drying period (scan) : No
• Buzzer: On
• Paper feed settings: Regardless of media types, 0H (hour) for TR1,5min (minute)
for TR2, and Type 1 for Paper end.
The "Initialize" command also resets all the head alignment data in the
"Head position (auto)" and "Head position (user)" adjustments.
13) Paper settings
Select the type of the media loaded in the roll media cassette.
14) Paper feed settings
Use this menu to set the roller trace preventive sequence and the roll media end
detection sequence. Refer to
Part 4: 3.9.1 d) Other paper feed actions (Page 4-39) .
• TR1: Sets the operation time of the roller trace preventive sequence for cassettes
A/B.
Specify an interval within the range of 0 to 300H (hours) in increments of 5H
(hours).
• TR2: Sets the operation time of the pressure roller trace preventive sequence.
Specify an interval within the range of 0 to 300 minutes in increments of 5
minutes.
• Paper end: Specify how the roll media end detection sequence is handled.
• Type 1: Select this option when using the manufacturer-recommended roll media.
This will allow the job to go on through to the trailing edge.
• Type 2: Select this option when using roll media other than the manufacturer-
recommended one. This will stop the job immediately, cut and eject the paper,
and wind back the paper remaining in the paper path into the media cassette.
15) Firmware version
The menu allows the user to view the version information of each of the following
logic boards:
S: system controller
C: carriage controller
M:motor controller
P: operation panel board
