Configuration 6-29
Clear the service condition through the SETUP: MAINTENANCE
configuration menu. This menu has a Replaced Item submenu with
OPC Belt Cartridge and Cleaning Roller options.
Media Options
Media options in the front panel allow you to select the default
media and set configurations for specific media. The MEDIA:
MEDIA TYPE menu allows you to select the default media for your
printer. Media options are Clear Film, Coated/Cover, Heat Transfer,
Label, Matte Film, Plainpaper (the factory default), and
Transparency. The MEDIA: ENVELOPE menu allows you to select
the default envelope size for your printer; options include DL (the
factory default) and Com 10.
Mirror Print
Mirror Print allows you to produce a mirror image which is reversed
left to right (fig. 6.16). This type of image is used to produce right
reading documents required for imaging transfer media.
Set Mirror Print from your application Print dialog box. To ensure
the highest quality when producing mirror images, use this menu in
the Print dialog box rather than an application setting. True enables
this feature and False, the factory default, disables it.
