Before You Begin
The printer should be repacked in its original packing and shipping
materials. If you no longer have part or all of these materials, contact
either XANTÉ Customer Support (at 800-540-7091 in the US or
Canada or at 334-473-6502 elsewhere) or your XANTÉ vendor to
order replacements.
Before returning the printer for service, you must obtain an RGA
(Return Goods Authorization) number from XANTÉ.
When repacking the printer for a service return, do not include the
following items:
• Manuals and Software • Cleaning Roller
• Power Cord • Waste Toner Bottle
• Fuser Oil Bottle and Oil Syringe • Toner Cartridges
• Duplexer
• Lower Feeder Unit(s)
(if applicable) (if applicable)
• Additional Paper Cassette(s)
(if applicable)
These items are to be stored or returned to their original packaging.
If you have a toner vacuum, use it to remove all excess waste toner
from the printer.
Removing Cables and Cassette(s)
1. Turn off the power to the printer.
2. Disconnect the power cable and all attached interface cables.
3. Remove any paper cassettes in the printer and media on top of
the printer.
