Registration
The Registration option allows you to print registration marks on a
letter or A4 page to use to verify color registration (fig. 8.6).
Print this page by selecting the UTILITY: UTILITY PAGES:
REGISTRATION option. For details, see “Registration” earlier in
this chapter and “Colour Registration” in chapter 8.
Verify Registration
The Verify Registration option allows you to print a XANTÉ Colour
Registration Page (fig. 8.7) This page illustrates the printer’s current
color registration. If any color is out of registration you can make
adjustments through the front panel Registration menu. For details,
see “Registration” earlier in this chapter and “Colour Registration” in
chapter 8.
Print this page by selecting the UTILITY: UTILITY PAGES:
VERIFY REGISTR option.
XANTÉ Screen Weight
The XANTÉ Screen Weight option allows you to adjust the starting
point for the enhanced screens. This level of control improves the
quality of output by increasing the amount of detail in the highlights.
When you select this option, a XANTÉ Screen Calibration Page
prints (figs. 3.17 and 4.26)). See “Enhanced Screen Calibration” in
chapter 3 (Macintosh) or 4 (PC) for details.
