Open the duplexer’s lower cover (fig. 11.12); then, open the
media guide’s cover and remove any media jam by gently pulling
the media down and out (fig. 11.13). If the media comes out
easily, skip to step 6; otherwise, continue to step 5.

Open the duplexer’s top cover (figs. 11.11 and 11.8) and the
printer’s top cover. Then, remove any jammed media using the
following procedure.
a.
Push the fuser tension levers toward the back of the
printer to remove pressure from the media (fig. 11.14).
