Power Save
Power Save conserves power when the printer is not in use. When
enabled, the feature puts the printer into a low-power state after 30
minutes of inactivity.
Set Power Save from the UTILITY: POWER SAVE configuration
menu. Power Save is disabled (Off) as the default; On enables it.
RAM Disk
RAM Disk allows you to set aside a section of printer RAM to be
used as a read/write device for implementing XANTÉ’s AccelaFont .
Set RAM Disk from the UTILITY: RAM DISK configuration menu.
0, the factory default, disables RAM disk. Options are in 1 MB
increments to the maximum available RAM, which is the installed
RAM minus 64 MB (the base amount of RAM required by the
system). The printer must be restarted for the RAM disk setting to
become active.
Registration
The Registration feature allows you to fine tune color registration by
adjusting each color horizontally and/or vertically in increments of 1/
300".
Set registration from the GRAPHICS: REGISTRATION
configuration menu. Options range from +3 to -3, with 0 making no
change. For details on checking registration and making adjustments,
see “Color Registration” in chapter 8.
Resolution Options (DPI)
The standard printer resolution, which is expressed in dots per inch
(DPI), depends on your printer model and if you are printing color or
monochrome output or screenprinting.
