Configuration 6-5
Reset key
allows you to return to the
previous menu level when using
configuration menus. To cancel a job that
the printer is processing, take the printer off
line and press the Reset key.
Test key
allows you to scroll back through
options on a menu level when using the
configuration menus. To print a start-up
page, take the printer off line and press the
Test key. Then, press the Online key.
Menu key
allows you to enter the menu
structure when
READY/IDLE
or
OFFLINE
appears in the window and to scroll forward
through menus and options.
Enter key
allows you to select the menu or
option displayed in the window. When you
select an option, the option name switches to
all capitalized letters in the window.

Configuration Menus
Use configuration menus to set printer feature and interface defaults.
This section describes using the configuration menus. The three-fold
quick reference sheet in the back of this manual illustrates the
configuration menu structure.
Selecting Menu Options
The following example illustrates changing the printer’s default
resolution from 1200 x 1200 dpi to 600 x 600 dpi using control keys
and configuration menus
