Locate and remove the two Phillips head screws
attaching the metal back plate on either side of the
parallel port (fig. 10.23).

Locate and remove the plastic screw on the lower, right
end of the Ethernet board (fig. 10.24).

Remove the Ethernet board by grasping both sides and
gently pulling it straight up and out of its sockets. You
may have to use both hands to remove this board.

Unpack the Ethernet upgrade which includes the board, a
hexagonal plastic post, a plastic screw, and a plastic nut.
4.
Locate the sockets for the Ethernet board and the post just to
the left of the right socket (fig. 10.25).
