Data can be loaded from a file in the current working directory off a floppy
disk. When loading data from a floppy disk. the 372 is set up as follows:
H Settings (.SET) - The 372 is set up according to the settings stored in
the file.
H Curves (.DAT) - Curves are loaded into reference memory. The graph in
the MEASURE menu is changed to a loaded curve display. For details,
refer to Switching the Graph Display in this section.
H Program (.PRG) - A program is loaded in the program memory.
This is the procedure to load the file in the current working directory.
ăStep 1:ă Verify that the disk is inserted in the disk drive, and you are in
the appropriate working directory.
ăStep 2:ă Press the [LOAD] button on the front panel to bring up the
LOAD popĆup menu on the CRT. Two types of LOAD popĆup menu can
be brought up, depending on the major menu being displayed on the
CRT (see Figure 3Ć48).
ăStep 3:ă Select the file to be loaded by touching the box with its file
name in the File Name selection box on the LOAD popĆup menu, or in
the FILE/DIR List on the DISK menu according to the type of displayed
LOAD popĆup menu. The LOAD popĆup menu that appears while the
DISK menu is displayed is different than the LOAD popĆup menu in the
major menu.
If the file cannot be found, scroll the File Name selection box or FILE/DIR
List using the general purpose knob or the [PAGE FORWARD] and
[PAGE BACKWARD] soft buttons. For details about the scrolling, refer to
Scrolling Operation in Operating Basics, Section 2.
ăStep 4:ă Touch the [EXECUTE] soft button to start loading. To cancel,
touch the [ESCAPE] soft button. Touching either soft button causes the
popĆup menu to disappear.
