CONST

Outputs a constant value.

SWEEP_LIN

Performs linear sweep.

SWEEP_LOG

Performs logarithmic sweep.

ăStep 6:ă

Select a sweep mode for the slave source unit with the [SWEEP

MODE] selector. The choices available are as shown in Table 3Ć15.

Operates as a step generator.

SYNC TO MASTER

Synchronizes to the sweep mode of the master

source unit.

When the [SYNC TO MASTER] box is selected, an offset value or output

ratio can be specified to determine the output value of the slave source unit.

ăStep 7:ă

Set the offset value or output ratio to determine the output value

of the slave source unit. Do this only when the [SYNC TO MASTER] box

is selected in step 6.

NOTE

When [SYNC TO MASTER] box is selected in step 6, the source

mode of the slave source unit is automatically changed to the

master source unit.

Ratio - The [RATIO] selector appears only when the [SWEEP_LOG] box

is selected in step 5. When the slave source unit is synchronized to the

master source which operates in the logarithmic sweep mode, the

output value of the slave source can be given by the ratio to the output

value of the master source unit.

The relationship between the output of the master source unit and the

slave source is as shown below. The ratio can be selected from preĆdeĆ

termined values in the Ratio popĆup menu driven by the [RATIO] selecĆ

tor (see Figure 3Ć17).

Slave source output value = ratio x master source output value.
