NOTE
When RĆmode is set, the SENSE line is disconnected from the
measurement circuit, and a measurement is performed with only
the FORCE line so measurement data displayed in the graph does
not correspond to the source settings of a SMU, because of a
voltage difference at both terminals.
If a high resistance value is set, measurement accuracy may slightly
drop. The resistance value should be set to 0 when there is no
evidence of oscillation, excess voltage or current, and when highĆ
precision measurement is required.
In case of RĆmode, the compliance is effective at the terminal on
the DUT side of the resistance, not at the FORCE terminal of the
test fixture.
The protective resistance can be selected on the Resistance PopĆup menu
driven by the [RESISTANCE] selector. The choices available are as shown in
Table 3Ć21.

ăStep 15:ă
Set output parameters (see Figure 3Ć20).
OutputĆrelated parameters depend on the setups in the Operation Mode
Setup section, as shown in the Table 3Ć22. The parameters in the table must
be set as voltage or current value according to the V" mode or I" mode set
for the corresponding SMU.
