Select an averaging mode if necessary (see Figure 1Ć11).
Averaging mode 4 (default) indicates that data for each measurement
point is an average value of four times measurement. Other selections
are 32 and 512.
If the manual setup method (see Example 2) is used and a mode other
than the default mode is selected, reset to the default mode as follows:

Touch the [AVERAGE] selector to bring up the Average popĆup
menu.
H
Touch the [4] box in the popĆup menu to select default averaging
mode. Touching operation also causes the popĆup menu to disapĆ
pear.

Set the acquisitionĆrelated parameters if necessary (see
Figure 1Ć11).
Delay time and hold time are used to delay the measurement by the
specified time. Both values are set to 0 in default.
Delay time and hold time can be set using the [DELAY TIME] and
[HOLD TIME] selector. In this example,however, default values are used.
If the manual setup method (see Example 2) is used and the values
other than the default values are currently set, reset to the default values
as follows:

Touch the [DELAY TIME] selector to bring up the numeric keypad
popĆup menu. For the numeric keypad popĆup menu, see Figure
1Ć13.

Touch the [0] soft key and then touch the [ENTER] soft button to set
the delay time to 0. Touching the [ENTER] soft button also causes
the popĆup menu to disappear.

As was shown above, set the hold time to 0 by touching the [HOLD
TIME] selector.
