When the stop value is changed - the increment value is changed
according to the start value, stop value and stop value currently set.
H
When the increment value is changed - the stop value is changed
according to the start value, steps value and increment value currently
set.
H
When the step value is changed - the stop value is changed according
to the start value, increment value and steps value currently set.
In no case are the start value and the steps value automatically changed.
The slave source unit in this sweep mode works as a step generator which
is completely dependent on the sweep mode of the master source unit.
In case that the master source unit is set to linear sweep or logarithmic
sweep, the step generator steps for every completion of the sweep on the
master, and the entire sweep completes after the sweep of master is reĆ
peated by the number of steps specified.
In case the master source unit is set to constant mode, the step generator
steps for a specified interval time.
CASE 6:
When the sweep mode of slave source unit is set to SYNC TO MASTER, no
selector is displayed. In this case, the slave source unit operates in synchroĆ
nization with the sweep mode set for the master source unit. The required
setup is automatically based on the output value of the master source unit
and offset or ratio value as described in step 7.
NOTE
When the output from either the master source or the slave source
unit reach the compliance, the output ratio or offset of the output
cannot be maintained. The start or stop value of the master should
be set within the range so that the offset or ratio is maintained
during a sweep.
In the logarithmic sweep mode, the same limitation exisrs when the
output from either the master source unit or slave source unit goes
below 10 pA or 10 mV.
CASE 7, CASE 8: Start and Stop
Start and stop can be set using the [START] and [STOP] selector, respecĆ
tively.
Start and stop are the initial and final values. The start value is changed to
the stop value in hold time after measurement starts as described in step 11.
