To stop the program while it is being executed, press the [STOP] button on
the front panel.
Suspend the Program with PAUSE in Either Mode
When the PAUSE instruction statement is encountered during execution, the
program is suspended, the PROGRAM indicator blinks and the message
Program Paused is displayed in the message display zone.
When the program is suspended, pressing the [START] button clears the
message, and resumes the execution of the program from the statement
following the PAUSE instruction.
When the program is suspended, pressing the [STOP] button resets the
program counter so that the program can be executed from the entry point
of the main routine by pressing the [START] button.
Refer to Saving and Loading Settings, Curves and Programs in this section
for the procedure on how to save and load a program to and from a floppy
disk.
Program creation, modification, and other operations take place in the
Program Edit menu of the PROG menu. Refer to Editing programs described
earlier for procedures on how to access these features.
Program Structure
A program can be divided into one main routine and one or more subrouĆ
tines. Each program can be up to 100 lines long, including blank lines.
Main Routine
The main routine begins with a MAIN and ends with an END. It may be
placed anywhere in a program.
Subroutines
Each subroutine begins with an entry point which you specify in the stateĆ
ment FUNC <subroutine name> and ends with a RETURN.
A subroutine can have any number of entry points. In the example below,
when ENTRY1 is called, processes 1 through 4 are executed, and when
ENTRY3 called, processes 3 and 4 executed.
