Selecting Cursor and Cursor Type
As shown in Figure 3Ć31, contents of menu vary depending on the selected
cursor type. The [CURSOR 1/2] selector and [CURSOR TYPE] selector
however are always displayed.
ăStep 2:ă
Select cursor 1 or cursor 2 with the [CURSOR 1/2] selector.
Cursor 1 is indicated by a small circle and cursor 2 side by a small
square in the graph.
ăStep 3:ă
With the [CURSOR TYPE] selector, assign a cursor type to the
cursor selected in step 2.
The cursor type (see Table 3Ć28) can be selected from the Cursor Type
popĆup menu brought up by touching the [CURSOR TYPE] selector. The
proper cursor type must be selected depending on the parameters to be
analyzed from the curves. Different or the same cursor types can be
assigned to the cursor 1 and cursor 2.

Turns the cursor feature OFF.
DOT
Assigns DOT cursor.
SLOPE
Assigns SLOPE cursor.
XGONOGO
Assigns XGONOGO cursor.
YGONOGO

GAIN
Assigns GAIN cursor.
Features of each cursor type are further explained in Cursor Types later in
this chapter.
Moving Cursor
ăStep 4:ă
Move the cursor to the specified position.
Some cursors move along the curve and others move to any position on
the graph, and still some other cursors select either of the two methods.
Also, depending on the cursor type, one or two cursor points can be
moved to any position on the curves or anywhere on the graph.
Moving Anywhere
The cursor can be moved anywhere on the graph by the methods described
in Moving Operation in Section 2, Operating Basics.
