Controlling Trace List Display

The Program Trace menu can display trace results 18 lines at a time. When

it is necessary to display another area of the trace list, scroll the list by using

the general purpose knob or [PAGE FORWARD] and [PAGE BACKWARD]

soft buttons as described in Basic Menu Operation.

Single Step Mode

One instruction statement is executed when the [START] button on the front

panel is pressed, and the program is suspended. The message Program

Paused is then displayed in the message display zone, and the instruction

statement to be executed next, with its line number, is displayed on the

Program Trace menu.

When the program has been completed, the message Program Stopped:

Execution complete is displayed in the message display zone, and pressing

the [START] button again executes the program from the entry point of the

main routine.

Continuous Mode

Pressing the [START] button causes the program to be executed until an

END or EXIT statement is encountered or execution is suspended. During

execution, the executed instruction statements are displayed on the ProĆ

gram Trace menu with their line number. When the program is terminated

without error being detected, the message Program Stopped:Execution

complete is displayed on the message display zone.
