Switching Pulse Mode
The [PULSE MODE] selector turns the pulse mode ON and OFF. If the pulse
mode is set to ON and the [EXIT] soft button is touched, the SMU will thereĆ
after operate in pulse mode on the specified channel.
To cancel the pulse mode setup with the [PULSE MODE] selector, set pulse
mode to OFF, and touch the [EXIT] soft button.
Touching the [EXIT] soft button causes the Pulse Mode popĆup menu to
disappear.
Supplied Channel
The [CHANNEL] selector selects a channel to be supplied with the pulse
from the Channel popĆup menu (see Table 3Ć24). Only one channel can be
selected and it is effective only when either SMU is being connected to the
channel.

Sets the channel 1 to the pulse mode.

Sets the channel 2 to the pulse mode.

Sets the channel 3 to the pulse mode.
Pulse Parameters
Trigger Source
With the [TRIGGER] selector, one of two trigger sources can be selected
from the popĆup menu (see Table 3Ć25).

LINE
Uses the frequency of the AC power source as a trigĆ
ger source. A value obtained by multiplying this freĆ
quency by an integer value can be a pulse cycle.
INTERNAL
Uses the internal clock as the trigger source. The
pulse period can be set as desired.
Period
The [PERIOD] selector sets the pulse period.
Setup of the pulse period depends on the setting of the [TRIGGER] selector:
