Numeric Keypad PopĆup Menu
The right side of Figure 2Ć4 shows an example of this popĆup menu which
consists of a display field, keypad, and soft buttons.

Display Field - The input figures are displayed. When the popĆup menu
appears, a value for the corresponding selector is displayed.
H
Keypad - Numerics, decimal point, prefix symbols ([p], [n], [
m
], [m],
[k], etc),
±
, DEL (delete), MIN, and MAX soft keys are available.
The [MAX] and [MIN] soft keys indicate the maximum and minimum
values which can be entered for these selectors. When these keys are
touched, their values replace those on display in the display field.

Soft Buttons - To display a set value in the display field, touch the
[ENTER] soft button. To cancel, touch the [ESCAPE] soft button. The
selector is still active. Touching either soft button causes the popĆup
menu to disappear.
Selector Operation
As described before, the selector can be entered or selected via a popĆup
menu that appears when you touch that selector. There are three types of
input depending on the invoked popĆup menu:

Selection of Item
H
Entry of Text
H
Entry of Numerals
Selection of Item
The item box can be selected via the selection box popĆup menu or the
general purpose knob.
Selection with the Selection Box PopĆup Menu
ăStep 1:ă
Touch the selector to bring up the selection box popĆup menu
(see Figure 2Ć3).
ăStep 2:ă
Select the item by touching the box displaying that item.
Selection with the General Purpose Knob
ăStep 1:ă
Touch the selector to set the selector to knob entry mode.
The selection box popĆup menu appears, the selector is highlighted and
the knob icon appears indicating that the selector is in knob entry mode
(see Figure 2Ć5).
