Controlling Program List Displays
The Program Edit menu can only display programs nine lines at a time. In
addition to the scrolling procedure described in Basic Menu Operation in
section 2, a procedure that specifies the beginning of a display line can be
used with the [LINE] selector. The display area can be changed in three
ways.
H
Scrolling the window with the general purpose knob.
H
Specifying the beginning line of the display area with the [LINE] selector.
H
Scrolling the window with the [PAGE FORWARD] and [PAGE BACKĆ
WARD] soft buttons.
Entering a Program
The [INSTRUCTION] selector defines the program instruction in specified
lines. When this selector is touched, the INSTRUCTION popĆup menu as
shown in Figure 3Ć72 comes up, and you can select the desired instruction.

When an instruction is selected, up to three [ARGUMENT] selector(s) for
specifying arguments appear at the right side of the instruction on the CRT
(see Figure 3Ć73). How many [ARGUMENT] selectors appear is determined
by the type of instruction selected. Depending upon the instruction, the
[ARGUMENT] selector may not even appear. Select or enter the parameĆ
ter(s) you need by touch the [ARGUMENT] selector(s).
Below is a procedure for entering program instructions. For modifying existĆ
ing programs, refer to Modifying Programs described later.
