Inserting Line
The [INSERT LINE] soft button inserts a blank line immediately before the
specified line.
ăStep 1:ă
Touch the [INSERT LINE] soft button to bring up the INSERT
LINE popĆup menu (see Figure 3Ć74).
ăStep 2:ă
Specify the line before which a blank line is inserted with the
[LINE NO.] selector on the popĆup menu. The [LINE NO.] selector is
highlighted in default state, so the line number can be entered by rotatĆ
ing the knob on the front panel without touching the selector.
The line number can also be input to the [LINE NO.] selector by touchĆ
ing the [INSTRUCTION] selector, where a blank line is inserted. Even if
the [INSTRUCTION] selector is touched while the Insert Line popĆup
menu is being displayed, the INSTRUCTION popĆup menu does not
appear.
ăStep 3:ă
Touch the [EXECUTE] soft button to execute the inserting
process. To cancel, touch the [ESCAPE] soft button. Touching both soft
buttons causes the popĆup menu to disappear.

Deleting Line
The [DELETE LINE] soft button deletes a specified area between lines.
ăStep 1:ă
Touch the [DELETE LINE] soft button to bring up the Delete
Line popĆup menu (see Figure 3Ć75).
ăStep 2:ă
With the [FROM] selector on the popĆup menu, specify the line
below which the delete starts. The [FROM] selector is highlighted in
default state so that the line number can be entered by rotating the knob
on the front panel without touching the selector.
When the value in the [FROM] selector increases, the value in the [TO]
selector also increases automatically.
