INSPECTION
WHEEL SPACER
• Remove the wheel spacers from the rear wheel.
• Inspect the rear wheel spacers

and dust seals

for wear
and cracks.
• If any defects are found, replace the spacer

together with
the dust seal
2
.
NOTE:
Apply grease on the spacers
1
and dust seals
2
before reas-
sembling.
SPROCKET
• Inspect the sprocket teeth for wear.
• If they are worn as shown, replace the two sprockets and
drive chain as a set.

DUST SEAL AND BEARING REPLACEMENT
• Remove the dust seals

with the special tool.

• Remove the snap ring

Normal wear
Excessive wear
The removed dust seals

must be replaced with new
ones.
The removed snap ring
