BRAKES
BRAKE FLUID LEVEL
• Inspect the brake fluid level in both front and rear reservoirs. If
the brake fluid level is lower than LOWER mark

, replenish
the reservoir with the specified brake fluid to the UPPER line.
Inspect brake pad wear and brake fluid leakage if the brake
fluid level decreases.
Brake fluid: DOT 4
* Brake fluid can be hazardous to humans and pets.
Brake fluid is harmful or fatal if swallowed, and
harmful if it comes in contact with your skin or eyes.
* Keep brake fluid away from children. Call your doc-
tor immediately if brake fluid is swallowed, and
induce vomiting. Flush eyes or skin with water if
brake fluid gets in eyes or comes in contact with
skin.
* The use of any fluid except DOT 4 brake fluid from a
sealed container can damage the brake system and
lead to an accident.
* Use only DOT 4 brake fluid from a sealed container.
Never use or mix different types of brake fluid.
* Spilled brake fluid can damage painted surfaces and
plastic parts.
* Be careful not to spill any fluid when filling the brake
fluid reservoir. Wipe spilled fluid up immediately.
