PUSH ROD
• Inspect the push rod for wear and damage.
• If any defects are found, replace the push rod with a new one.
RELEASE BEARING
• Inspect the clutch release bearing

for any abnormality, par-
ticularly cracks, to decide whether it can be reused or should
be replaced.
• Smooth engagement and disengagement of the clutch
depends on the condition of this bearing.
• If any defects are found, replace the clutch release bearing
with a new one.
INSTALLATION
Install the clutch plates in the reverse order of removal. Pay
attention to the following points:
• Install the spring washer seat

and spring washer

onto
the clutch sleeve hub correctly.
• Apply engine oil to the drive plates

and driven plates

.
• Install the clutch drive plates and driven plates one by one
into the clutch sleeve hub in the prescribed order as show in
illustration.
