Use this command to specify the MAC-based format of RADIUS Calling-Station-ID attribute in
the global configuration mode. Use the no form of this command to restore to the default
value.
radius-server attribute 31 mac format { ietf | normal | unformatted }

ietf
The standard format specified by the
IETF

unformatted No format and seperator. By default,

Default The default format is unformatted .

mode Global configuration mode.

guidelines
Some RADIUS security servers(mainly used to 802.1x
authentication) may identify the IETF format only. In this
case, the RADIUS Calling-Station-ID attribute shall be set
as the IETF format type.
