IP Service Configuration Commands

2.1.1

ip default-gateway

Use this command to configure the default gateway on the Layer2 switch. Use

the

form of this command to remove the default gateway.

ip default-gateway

no ip default-gateway

Default

configuration

By default, no default gateway is configured.

Command

Usage

guidelines

The packets will be sent to the default gateway if the

destination address is unknown. Use the

show ip

redirects

command to view the default gateway.
