엔진 연료 분사 펌프 영향에 의한 맥압 발생으로 압
력 계기들이 쉽게 손상되어 이를 방지하기 위하여,
조절 가능한 Pulsation Damper가 설치되어 있습니다.
댐퍼는 필히 조절되어야 하며, 아래의 그림.1은
Pulsation Damper 조절 전후의 연료유 압력의 변화
여부를 나타낸다.
Pulsation Damper의 조절
1. 엔진 구동 중 테스트 블록에 임시로 압력계를 설치
한다. (그림.3)
2. 댐퍼의 locking nut를 1바퀴 풀고 (그림 4), 내부
spindle을 약 2바퀴 반시계 방향으로 회전하여 압
력계의 맥압을 체크 한다.
Adjustable pulsation dampers are mounted on fuel oil
pipeline to protect the pressure instrument from the
damage influenced by fluctuation of fuel oil injection
pump. These dampers should be properly adjusted.
Below Fig.1 shows the variation of pressure
fluctuation before and after adjusting damper.
Adjusting the pulsation damper
1. Install temporary pressure gauge on test block
during engine running. (Fig. 3)
2. Loosen locking nut on the damper for 1-turn
counter-clockwise (Fig. 4). Check fluctuation
pressure after rotating the spindle about 2–turn
counter clockwise.
